Analyse de l'image de Martin Parr — l’Acropole d’Athènes


   Deux groupes de touristes étrangement regroupés se comportent comme les équipes de football sur fond d'une colline rocheuse de 156 mètres d’eau avec son sommet plat.

   D’un côté du champ s’est rangée une équipe de joueurs asiatiques, pudiques, en pantalons, armés de chapeaux de soleil. Ils attendent que le photographe prenne l’image silencieusement alignés devant le monument massif pour lequel ils sont là.

   De l’autre côté, réunis dans un groupe les joueurs de l’équipe du monde occidental. Courts vêtus avec leurs t-shirts visiblement colorés, ils prêtent attention au discours de leur capitaine.

   L’Acropole solennel s’élève virilement derrière la foule. Journalièrement, il accueille des milliers de touristes venant mettre une croix devant un de plus célèbre monument du patrimoine mondial. Pendant des siècles il a été un modèle de l’architecture terrestre et aujourd’hui il suffit des quelques millisecondes pour le capturer. Il n’y a plus besoin de contempler cet ouvrage d’architecture en essayant de se rappeler tous les détails, parce que l’image reste avec nous pour toujours. Ainsi chaque visiteur prend un morceau de l’histoire avec un dans sa forme préférée.

   Cependant, cet élégant monument, frappant par sa perfection n’était pas du tout la cible de l’auteur de cette image: ici, il visait ces deux troupeaux tellement différent les uns des autres par ces genres de l’étrangetés.

Japanese Sakura Blossom | Spring 2017

   Here comes the time of the year which actually indicates the beginning of each year, as it refers to the ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth.
